Description

Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, wall mosaic decoration, north wall, first zone: the widow's mite. Christ draws the disciples' attention to a woman who puts a few coins in the temple's money chest.
The scenes with the life of Christ are part of the mosaic decoration executed during the reign of Theodoric.
